How to Dress for Valentine's Day
It's somehow February already and if you haven't started thinking about Valentine's Day yet, you should. Valentine's Day isn't just about dinner, roses and chocolate. It's showing the person you love how much they mean to you. It's setting aside time to just enjoy each other's company and remember why you fell in love in the first place and why you fall in love with each other more each day. Taking the time to dress up shows the importance of the event and person you're with. We've put together these three examples to give you some ideas of what to wear for going out that evening.
The first suggestion would be a grey solid suit with a solid shirt and patterned tie. This is a classic and versatile suit and doesn't feel over or under-dressed.
The second look we've put together is business casual. We suggest wearing a patterned sport jacket, complementary trousers, a button-down collared shirt, and loafers. The benefit of this type of look is that it works in multiple situations, from a 5-star restaurant to an intimate dinner at home.
Our last suggestion is casual at it's best. We paired this cable knit sweater with a pair of dark-washed jeans and suede lace-ups. This is perfect for the more casual events you may have planned for Valentine's Day.
We hope these suggestions give you some inspiration when looking in your own closet for this Valentine's Day.
